Lingo is Abbott's first over-the-counter continuous glucose monitor (CGM) brandbuilt to help people understand their bodies and make smarter choices through real-time insights. The Position
We're looking for a world-class Creative Director to lead the internal creative team at Lingo and help define what a next-generation health brand can be. This role will shape the creative vision, elevate storytelling, and deliver breakthrough ideas that drive both brand love and business growth. As Creative Director, you'll oversee all creative across Lingo's 360 ecosystemspanning brand, digital, social, retail, influencer, partnerships, and campaign work. Reporting directly to the CMO, you'll lead a growing internal creative team and collaborate closely with external agencies, production partners, and cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and global markets.
You'll balance creative excellence with operational discipline, helping the brand scale efficiently without losing soul. You'll be both a hands-on creator and a strategic leader, capable of inspiring teams to produce bold, insight-driven, and emotionally resonant workwhile being a thoughtful steward of resources and always looking for scrappy, high-impact ways to bring ideas to life.

What You'll Do
Creative Leadership : Define and drive the overarching creative vision for the Lingo brandestablishing a distinct, modern, and category-defining brand voice and visual identity.
Creative Development and Campaigns : Lead the concepting and execution of compelling assets and campaigns that support both paid, owned, and earned channelsincluding TV, digital, social, retail, email, and partnerships.
Internal Team Leadership : Lead, inspire, and grow Lingo's in-house creative team (designers, writers, producers, content creators). Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Resource Stewardship : Manage creative budgets and resources responsiblyfinding smart, efficient ways to maximize impact. Know when to go big and when to get scrappy.
Agency & Partner Management : Guide external creative and production agencies, ensuring best-in-class creative output and brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner closely with Marketing teams across Brand, Performance, PMM, and Insights, as well as cross-functional teams including Product, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory to translate strategic insights into compelling creative that drives measurable results.
Operational Rigor : Establish efficient creative workflows, review processes, and feedback systems that enable quality and speed at scale.
Creative Guardian : Ensure every piece of creative workno matter the channelreflects Lingo's mission, emotional resonance, and commitment to helping people live better through understanding their bodies.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience in brand or creative leadership (agency or in-house), ideally in consumer health, wellness, tech, or lifestyle brands. Strong portfolio showcasing integrated creative campaigns that build brands and drive measurable results. Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary creative teams. Expertise in managing external creative partners and production. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders. Exceptional verbal and visual storytelling skills.
The base pay for this position is $169,300.00 $338,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
