[job_card.job_description]5S Medical Surgical / Oncology RN 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float 29 Bed Unit. Adult Population- Medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care and family education of the oncological processes. Urology and Telemetry patients included. Experience Required : 2 Years Ratios : 4-5 : 1 Patient Ratio (Days); 5-6 : 1 Patient Ratio (Nights) Shift Info : 36 or 48hr contract options; Every other weekend required Hospital Highlights : Short Term Acute Care Type of Facility : Level IV Trauma Center, Major teaching hospital; member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH) Total Staffed Beds : 838 Scrub Color : Royal Blue / White (RN) Charting : Cerner Parking Cost : free for travelers Certs Required : BLS, ONC Preferred WV / Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm Flu Shot : Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW. Submission Requirements : One PDF MUST CONTAIN : Candidate profile (work history), Specialty specific skills checklist, Min. 2 Mgr / Charge References (within past 2yrs.), RN Lic. verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date – clean lic. required – hits submitted for case-by-case basis approval), Driver's License, SSN. Dates : 36 or 48hr contract options; Every other weekend required 29 Bed Unit. Adult Population- Medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care and family education of the oncological processes. Urology and Telemetry patients included. Valid Drivers License is required. Candidate will not be considered without this. Social Security Card required. Must be legible. Please require if the candidate is working on a compact license. Driver's license must match compact state license.
