A healthcare system in California is currently a licensed Physician, with a Family and / or Internal Medicine background, for a promisingopportunity at one of their facilities in Los Angeles.

About the Opportunity :

Start Date : ASAP

Assignment Length : Ongoing (Contract to Hire potential)

Specialty : Family / Internal Medicine

Patient Population : All ages

Patient Volume : 20 per day

EMR : ECW Responsibilities :

• The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for;

Examiningand diagnosingpatients for treatment or evaluative purposes

Workingcollaboratively with Physicians, staff and administration to improve clinical outcomes and quality of care.

Ensuringthat the delivery of care is efficient and effective

Consultingwith other Physicians, Specialist and Para-professional personnel regarding care of patients and medical diagnostics

Supervisingand reviewingthe care provided by mid-level providers and students

Conductingspecialized research, special studies and services upon appropriate approval

Assisting in the administrative responsibilities for budget preparation procuring and evaluating equipment and supplies

Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications :

5 years of experience in a Primary Care and / or OBGYN environment

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California

Board Certified / Eligible in Family and / or InternalMedicine

Familiarity with E-Clinical Works

Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills

Great interpersonal skills

Excellent communicationskills (written and verbal)
