At Marietta Center for Nursing and Healing , we're seeking compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join our dedicated rehab team. Whether you're looking for the consistency of a full-time role or the flexibility of PRN, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives.

Position Overview

As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapy treatments that help residents regain mobility, strength, and confidence. You'll play a vital role in implementing care plans, encouraging progress, and ensuring each resident's therapy experience is positive and successful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
  • Assist residents with safe use of therapy equipment
  • Monitor progress and communicate updates to the PT and care team
  • Document treatments and resident responses accurately and promptly
  • Support residents and families with education and encouragement

Qualifications

  • Current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Georgia
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
