As the City's Chief Executive Officer, the City Manager provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership across all municipal functions. Serving at the pleasure of the Mayor and City Council, the City Manager ensures the effective implementation of Council priorities while maintaining high standards of transparency, fiscal stewardship, and service delivery.
This role calls for a leader who can translate vision into actionsomeone who thrives in complex environments, builds trust across diverse stakeholders, and leads with integrity, accountability, and innovation.

The City provides full family, comprehensive medical and dental insurance. Vision and prescription coverages are included in the medical plans. Additional benefits include : Employer paid life insurance and long term disability, an employer sponsored deferred compensation plan, flexible spending accounts (medical, child care), Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) retirement (City picks up the 6% employee's contribution), an employer contribution to a HRA / VEBA medical savings account, paid time off (PTO) accrual at a minimum of 12.66 hours per month, and 4 hours of sick leave, in addition to nine paid holidays and 3.5 paid floating holidays per year.
