Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - ER Job Details : Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required Work in a very large and busy emergency department with high acuity patients 1 : 4 patient ratio in a 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day Care for patients from neonates to geriatrics Work every other weekend with maximum 7 days requested time off Holiday work required based on assignment period (see holiday policy) Float assignments are rare Navy blue scrubs required Must have Epic experience (hard stop requirement) Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Work in Stroke and STEMI certified facility 24 hours of orientation required Full compliance required to start on time Travel experience required, first-time travelers not accepted Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year to return as traveler Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission Must submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing Facility : This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive emergency department that serves as a regional trauma and stroke center.
