POSITION SUMMARY

Counselor / Social Worker will provide therapeutic intervention and consultation to students and their families, and provide individual, group, family therapy, and crisis intervention for students as needed.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Clinical

• Provide clinical service delivery for individuals on assigned caseload.
• Implement daily social emotional group lessons.
• Provide crisis management to students as need arises.
• Conduct intake and biopsychosocial assessments and provide case management.
• Work in collaboration with teachers and paraprofessionals regarding students' academic and behavior concerns, interpersonal relationships, and coping skills.
• Counsel with students outside of their caseload on an as needed basis or at supervisor's request.
