Title : Billing Specialist (Construction)

Location : Alexandria / Springfield, VA - on-site

Assignment Type : Temp-to-permanent role

Compensation : $33-36 / hour / $75-80K conversion salary

Work Schedule : M-F, 9-5

Benefits : This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, and 401(k)

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely customer invoices based on contracts, progress billing, and work completed.
• Process AIA billing, including G702 / G703 forms, lien waivers, and related documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients on past-due invoices.
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation.
• Track and manage retention payments and project-specific billing terms.
• Assist with month-end close processes related to AR, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain organized records of all billing transactions, contracts, and change orders.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to ensure accurate job costing and revenue recognition.
