Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts, from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our PCU team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCU / Stepdown settings and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This position requires working every other holiday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in PCU / Stepdown.
  • MUST HAVE permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores on both.
