  • The selected Tax Accountant plays a crucial role in helping HAEA navigate the complexities of tax laws and regulations.
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Tax Accountant with experience and knowledge in various tax compliance and planning to support our growing IT organization.

    • Tax Return Preparation & Filing :

  • Handle indirect tax filings (sales / use, property, GST), coordinate with external firms for corporate and expatriate income tax returns, and ensure timely payments.

    • Tax Research & Updates :

  • Conduct research to support tax positions and stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations.

    • Compliance & Audit Support :

  • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings across jurisdictions and assist with inquiries and audits from tax authorities.

    • Advisory & Financial Support :

  • Provide tax guidance on business decisions and assist in budgeting and financial strategy development.  Ensure compliance with K-SOX (Korea Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements related to tax processes and internal controls Basic Qualifications ​​​​​​​ Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience; 2–5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, especially in indirect tax.

    • Technical Proficiency :

  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, codes, and forms; skilled in accounting software and data analysis.

    • Core Competencies :

  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail; able to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications Advanced degrees or CPA certification preferred.

    • Base Salary Range :
