Developer Experience And Productivity Engineer

As an engineer at Mercor, you will be focused on improving the developer experience for SWE's at Mercor. The goal is to identify and execute initiatives to unlock productivity, guardrails for the global Mercor engineering team.

The general responsibilities and skills are listed below. This is a high leverage role that will impact the productivity of all Mercor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build tools and processes that help engineers move faster, automate manual work, and improve quality (local dev environments, code generation, CLI tools, automate repetitive activities, linting, security scans, dependency updates)
• Use AI / AI tools to rethink how we can become the most productive engineering team in the industry.
• Partner with engineering teams : Work with FE and backend engineers to identify bottlenecks, debug friction in workflows, and roll out solutions that scale to the entire team.
• Champion modern practices : Standardize the development environment using best practices and improve testing strategies.
