[job_card.job_description]Post-operative patients from craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections. Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries. Patients in our Comprehensive Stroke Program. A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery cases. Deliver coordinated, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process. Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate care. Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to achieve optimal outcomes. Enhance patient experiences across the care continuum. Be part of a supportive team that values connection with regular team-building activities. Thrive in an environment that promotes teamwork, continuous learning, and patient-centered care. Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Recognize and respond to significant changes in a patient's condition. Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and reduce risks. Coordinate discharge plans with a multidisciplinary approach. Evaluate patient and team outcomes, advocating for necessary changes. Practice effective communication and promote collaboration among team members. Identify and address potential safety threats promptly. Engage in quality improvement initiatives for departmental enhancement. Participate in professional development activities and competencies. Understand age-specific care requirements and provide appropriate interventions. Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Completion of an accredited Nursing program. A minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Ability to provide holistic patient care with a family-focused perspective. Confidence in making timely, independent decisions. Proficient in electronic medical records and communication tools. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and teams. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills within care teams. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the workday. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 40 lbs. May require use of protective equipment due to exposure to hazardous materials. Functional ability to perform nursing tasks requiring fine motor skills.

Schedule Details / Additional Information :
Nights, with 8 and 12 hr shifts, every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift
Student Loan Forgiveness : Up to $20,000
Tuition Assistance : Up to $7,200
