PV Village Pet Hospital is looking for a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician with Potential for Full-Time Employment to join our team!

8-hour shifts with weekend opportunities in the future

As a Registered Veterinary Technician youll play an important role in pets lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Role Requirements :

• Proof of Registered Veterinary Technician status in California
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively handle and control aggressive animals.
• Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspects of work in a veterinary clinic environment including the use of euthanasia.
• Be proficient in venipuncture IV catheter placement digital radiography (full body and dental)
• Assist with anesthetic procedures as needed (eg. Spays neuters mass removals dentals etc)
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
• Must have active listening critical thinking complex problem solving time management judgment and decision-making skills.
• Professional and friendly demeanor with staff and clients
• Able to work late day shifts and a regular weekend day.
• Available part-time

Compensation is based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate up to $20-$30 / hour.
