About the Role

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the conceptualization, design, implementation and testing of technologies, tools, or processes while consistently demonstrating technical expertise and ingenuity. Demonstrate the ability to plan, define, and execute projects independently and with minimal guidance. Recognized throughout the Division as an emerging expert.

In this role, you will design and develop power electronics hardware for amplifier systems sold under the Crown / JBL brands. You will be responsible for component selection, circuit simulations, schematic capture, PCB layout and routing, prototype testing and support manufacturing activities.

What You Will Do

• Architect, design, and test high power audio amplifiers and power supplies.
• Lead and participate in technical design reviews and advise on all aspects of product design.
• Ensure products meet customer and internal requirements, specifications, and cost targets.
• Conduct research and development of new technologies and products.
• Release and maintain controlled documents in Harman’s documentation system.

Salary Ranges :

$ 120,750 - $ 177,100
