[job_card.job_description]Work on the Orthopedic Surgical Trauma unit (#613) located on the 4th floor Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 6 or 1 : 5 Work with equipment including chest tubes, traction devices, orthopedic equipment, IVs, oxygen, trachs, and drains Perform typical procedures such as line and drain management Required certifications : BLS, ACLS Must have chest tube management experience Trauma experience preferred May float to Medical Surgical units when needed 4 weekend shifts required per schedule Dress code requires royal blue scrubs Use Meditech EMR system Must demonstrate flexibility and good time management skills Work alongside charge nurses, staff nurses, techs, and variable sitters Referral bonus
