Benefits Specialist

Beacon Hill is hiring! We have partnered with a religious based organization in downtown Chicago in hiring for a Benefits Specialist to start immediately. This role will handle day-to-day benefits administration, assist employees with general benefit inquiries, ensure accuracy through audits, and support special projects and new program implementation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in HRIS systems as well as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
• Respond to general benefits-related questions from employees in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Partner with the Benefits Manager on special projects and rollout of new programs.
• Maintain and update benefits information within the HRIS system.
• Prepare reports and provide data analysis related to benefits utilization and trends.
• Assist with benefits-related communications, open enrollment, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations.
