The Role

Reporting into the Technical Support Director, as a Field Application Engineer, you will be interfacing with our customers, project managers, and their engineering teams to assist in the definition and use of our solutions such as our single-board computers or systems.

You will also act as a team leader working closely with other application engineers to ensure that prompt and proper technical support is provided to our customers.

Youll be based at our Woburn, MA facility on a full-time hybrid / Remote basis (and were flexible with what that looks like!) We have flexible working with core hours of 10am to 3pm (working 40 hours per week).

What will I be delivering?

This role will consist of two major functions :

Face-to-face customer support acting as a technical expert.

Team leader to help strengthen the team in our US office.

This is a fast-paced role where it is critical to be commercially aware as well as customer focused and will be an office-based role with travel to customer sites at short notice.

What do I need to bring with me?

Demonstrated knowledge and experience

Previous experience working directly with customers.

High level knowledge of embedded engineering.

Pre- and post-sales customer support.

Technical skills and qualifications

Technical knowledge of VPX and its ecosystem for deployable ruggedized systems.

Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows & VxWorks.

Embedded System assembly and integration.

Confident in presenting and interacting with customers.

Analytical and methodical.

Keen to learn and try new things.

Passionate about technology.

Agile and able to work at pace.
