[job_card.job_description]Conduct assigned activities with residents (consumers) Assist with medical care and in promoting healthy daily living Assist with meal preparation, healthy dietary practices, serve meals, and provide clean up as needed Administer approved medications to consumers as directed Safely operate a COMHAR vehicle to transport consumers and for other assigned functions Immediately report any site or consumer related crisis or unusual incident to Site Manager Complete required documentation Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings, as assigned Participate in quality Improvement programs as assigned or required Attend all required meetings and training programs as assigned or required Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all consumer related information Participate in cross-training for assignments at other sites as needed Engage in crisis intervention and utilize approved techniques as instructed in training programs. Other duties as assigned Health, Vision and Dental Insurance Life Insurance Retirement Savings Plan (403B) Paid Time Off (Holiday, sick, PTO, vacation) Tuition Reimbursement Pet Insurance High School Diploma (or GED) Current PA Driver's License; satisfactory driving record; eligible to operate program vehicles. Direct Support Professional Job Summary :
Direct Support Professional provides direct services and residential support to consumers in a respectful manner, assisting with daily personal hygiene, physical tasks and life tasks on a Full Time basis ensuring the dignity & privacy of consumers.
Direct Support Professional Available Shifts Include :
- First Shift
- Second Shift
- Third Shift
- Weekends
