Assembler

The Furniture Assembler works in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment to build, assemble, and repair furniture pieces. This role requires high attention to detail to ensure every piece meets the company's quality and safety standards before being shipped to customer Physical Stamina : Ability to stand for long shifts and lift or maneuver heavy items (frequently 50+ lbs). Attention to Detail : Ability to spot small discrepancies in wood grain, fabric alignment, or hardware fit. Reliability : A good track record of punctuality and consistent attendance

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Assembly : Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment to assemble furniture components according to technical specifications.
• Quality Inspection : Examine finished products for defects, such as scratches, structural instability, or missing hardware, and report issues to supervisors.
• Material Handling : Move heavy furniture components and finished goods throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks or manual lifting.
• Measurement & Accuracy : Verify parts and dimensions against work orders to ensure consistent product quality.
• Safety & Maintenance : Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Production Goals : Meet or exceed daily production targets to ensure on-time delivery for customer orders
