Position : RN-OR-Operating Room (Travel / Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-OR-Operating Room for a 13-week contract in Tyler, Texas — earn up to ($2074 - $2184 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.

Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.

Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff for optimal outcomes.

Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Document patient care activities and surgical procedures accurately.

Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback.

Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices.

Utilize data to assess and enhance operational efficiency.

Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Experience / Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.

Strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient safety protocols.

Experience in operating room or surgical settings preferred.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and medical staff.

Proficient in monitoring patient vitals and reacting to changes.

Experience in documenting patient care and surgical activities accurately.

Willingness to assist in training new staff and sharing knowledge.

Ability to engage in team meetings and contribute to strategies.

Familiarity with data analysis to improve operational efficiency.
