JOB SUMMARY

  • The Clinical Nurse Coordinator-RN serves as a resource for professional nursing and support staff in an inpatient unit, specialty clinic, or treatment program in various patient care settings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

    • Minimum Work Experience

  • No prior work experience required

    • Required Licenses / Certifications

  • Registered Nurse or BSN, licensed in the state of Texas

    • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies
  • Thorough knowledge of planning, scheduling, coordinating, and establishing goals and priorities for nursing and support staff in a health care setting
  • Knowledge in conflict resolution
  • Skill in planning, organizing, and delegating
  • Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures
  • Skill in problem solving
  • Skill in verbal and written communication
  • Skill in speaking engagements and other activities that raise awareness to diseases and disease processes
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures
  • Ability to set priorities among multiple requests
  • Ability to interact with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively
