Business Applications Manager

Schulte Hospitality Group is a division of Schulte Companies, a leading third-party management company with deep, multi-generational experience in all facets of the hospitality industry. We are a diverse team of innovative hoteliers and restauranteurs operating more than 200 locations across 38 states and 3 countries. Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.

This role is intended to oversee and optimize SHG's suite of business applications. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and data integrity while driving training, vendor coordination, and system integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with executive leadership on analytics and business intelligence projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage SHG business applications, including ProfitSword, Hotel Effectiveness, PlateIQ, and Concur (potentially).
  • Develop and monitor training programs for supported applications.
  • Create and implement location onboarding programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with vendors on enhancements, troubleshooting, and support requests.
  • Manage internal support requests for applications.
  • Partner with CIO and CFO on system integrations and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop compliance monitoring programs for all applications.
  • Collaborate on data analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Direct operations teams on best practices and consistency in application usage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise business applications in hospitality or similar industry.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of system integrations and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
  • Familiarity with ProfitSword, Hotel Effectiveness, PlateIQ, and Concur.
  • Experience developing training programs and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
  • Experience working with and creating reports using business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
  • Ability to effectively communicate written and verbal instructions.
