Engineering Manager, Platform

Were looking for an experienced Engineering Manager, Platform to lead our Platform Engineering team responsible for designing, building, and scaling the foundational systems that power our global fleet and the diverse operational and business use cases surrounding it.

Youll oversee the core infrastructure, developer experience, and ML platform functions enabling our engineering and data teams to build, deploy, and scale products efficiently and reliably. This role combines strategic leadership with technical depth, making it ideal for someone passionate about scaling systems and delivering high cross-organizational impact in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do :

Lead, mentor, and scale a team of software engineers focused on cloud infrastructure, developer productivity, and ML platform enablement.

Own the platform roadmap by defining goals, setting priorities, and aligning initiatives with key business stakeholders

Drive CI / CD, developer experience, and observability strategy to boost engineering speed and resilience.

Champion best practices in infrastructure as code, incident management, cost optimization, and cloud security.

Drive innovation through infrastructure automation and ML platform capabilities to support evolving business needs.

Foster a strong engineering culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Partner with Security, Compliance, and Finance teams to maintain and enforce SOX-compliant change management and access control processes.

About You :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, and DevOps engineering, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role.

Proven success building and scaling cloud infrastructure on AWS for production systems.

Experience with infrastructure as code, containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, etc.), and database technologies

Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and debugging systems using Ruby and Python.

Experience building and scaling developer tools and workflows (CI / CD, developer portals, observability).

Familiarity with machine learning infrastructure and data pipelines

Proven track record managing teams that deliver complex, reliable, and scalable systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Passion for mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive technical decisions with a business focus.
