Surgical Technologist

Description

Ensure surgical room is clean for start of day: Wipe down room at the beginning of day with alcohol. Check for cleanliness throughout the day of all equipment and furniture. Transport Specimen to the lab Assemble, maintain and protect sterile field Maintenance of sterile field Case is opened and set-up in a timely manner adhering to aseptic and sterile technique. Sponge, needle and instrument (when applicable) count done with other team member.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required. BLS (AHA) Certified Surgical Tech (CST) preferred not required 1 Year minimum Scrub Variety of Standard Surgical Care lines (excluding cardiac) with Robot, Ortho and Neuro required

This is a Contract position based out of San Bernardino, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
