General description : Under the direction of the Support Resources Division Director, the Fleet and Radio Branch Manager performs complex (journey-level) managerial work administering the daily operation and activities for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Fleet and Radio program. Administers the fleet management and radio communication operations program and performs oversight activities of the fleet and radio staff. Oversees the maintenance and repair support for agency radio equipment and systems division and statewide. Establishes program goals and objectives and develops program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules and regulations. Develops schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals. Monitors and evaluates program activities and develops and evaluates budget requests. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division, and Branch rules, regulations, and procedures.
