[job_card.job_description]Maintain the upkeep of all groundskeeping equipment (i.e. lawnmowers, weed eaters, blowers, and trimmers) Change oil and grease all required equipment as needed Maintain a neat and presentable appearance of all district property Trim shrubbery Remove vegetation from around properties Maintain in and around the maintenance department (i.e. mopping, stripping, waxing floors, and etc.) Move equipment around at other locations if needed Assist with general labor duties when needed Assist other maintenance workers as needed Keep all building grounds and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat and clean at all times Maintain inventory of all ground equipment Maintain vehicles and trailers (i.e. fluids, tires, and appearance) Change lawnmower blades as needed Inform maintenance supervisor of all supply inventory before depletion of supplies Perform any other duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor

Reports to : Maintenance Supervisor and Superintendent
FLSA status : Non-exempt
Qualifications :
- Mature and experienced in the job field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Cleared ALSDE Fieldprint background check
- Physically capable of performing duties required by the position
- Ability to carry out duties in an intelligent manner
- Orderly and willing to learn new techniques of maintenance, housekeeping, and landscaping
- Dependable, able to get along with people - teachers, principals, and patrons
- Must be able to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
Duties and Responsibilities :
Terms of Employment : As established by the Board and applicable state law
Evaluation : Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.
