Overview

We are seeking RNs for our Long-term Care facility.

Schedule : We have limited openings for Days (6 : 30a-2 : 30p), Evenings (2 : 30p-10 : 30p), and Overnights (10 : 30p-6 : 30a). Both Part-Time and Full-Time Openings. All positions include an every other weekend (both Saturday AND Sunday) and alternate holiday rotation.

About our community :

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care, and adult day services.

Responsibilities

The RN is a key team member who is responsible to meet the needs of the resident by following the plan of care, rounding to observe resident physical and psychosocial status and reporting and responding to changes in condition as appropriate. The RN plans, directs and carries out shift routines as well as directing, observing and evaluating the work of personnel on their unit.

Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota RN license required.
  • Advanced level of reading, writing,and speaking in English required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of rehabilitation nursing concepts.
  • Clinically competent to utilize the nursing process to perform physical and cognitive assessments of residents.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of position including visual and auditory acuity, including lifting, bnding, pushing, pulling, sitting, and standing.
  • Ability to work with colleagues and residents from diverse backgrounds.
