Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Groveport, OH. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and requires a dedicated professional skilled in providing comprehensive speech and language services to students across all grade levels.

Key qualifications and experience :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
  • Strong evaluation, diagnostic, and individualized therapy planning skills
  • Effective collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed documentation

Primary responsibilities include :

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Delivering targeted therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
  • Consulting with teachers and families to support student communication goals
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations

    • This position offers a competitive contract rate at or below $62 per hour for the full-time school-year assignment. The role involves working closely with a diverse student population in a supportive K-12 educational environment.
