Who we are:

Leo A. Hoffmann Center is a nonprofit Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). We provide treatment to adolescent males (11-17 years) with complex mental health conditions. PRTFs are more intensive than other services, such as residential treatment or day treatment, but less medically intensive than a psychiatric hospital. Every client has an individualized plan of care based on all aspects of the individual's situation.

What we're looking for: Full-time (72-80 hours per pay period) and part-time (~24 hours per pay period) Youth Counselors. This position provides quality client care and close, intensive supervision of our clients. *Every other weekend is required*

Starting Pay: $19.36-$20.63 depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a nurturing environment to all clients
• Provide supervision to clients
• Use behavior management techniques appropriately with clients
• Medication administration
• Complete client reports, care plans, and records promptly and maintain client files in accordance with program procedures

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Bachelor's degree in social services, human services, or related field preferred
• Able to stay calm and emotionally available in an environment serving disturbed youth
