Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit
  • Discipline : RN
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Travel

Requirements :

  • Certs : ACLS, BLS
  • Licensure : NC RN License, Compact License
  • Stepdown experience required
  • Telemetry experience required
  • Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience within the past year highly preferred
  • CVICU experience highly preferred

    • Typical Procedures :

  • Epidural management
  • Chest tube management
  • Tube feedings
  • IV Glucommander
  • Cardiac GTT management (phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, Cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, ketamine)

    • Patient Population :

  • CV Surgery and Vascular Surgery

    • Open heart surgery (CABG, AVR, MVR, Bentall, TAVR, etc.)

  • Thoracic lung surgery (lobectomy, thoracotomy, etc.)
  • Esophagogastrostomy
  • AAA (open and endovascular)
  • Fem-pop bypass
  • Carotid endarterectomies
  • Overflow Medical Cardiology Patients

    • Heart failure

  • DKA
  • Chest pain
  • Sepsis
  • Heart block

    • Requirements :

  • Certs : ACLS, BLS
