Mission Recruiting is representing a boutique California firm that handles sophisticated disputes between health plans and large provider systems. The work

  • Handle complex contract and reimbursement disputes involving healthcare providers and payers
  • Analyze large volumes of claims and supporting data
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests
  • Prepare motions and arbitration materials
  • Manage large active dockets with shifting priorities
  • Conduct detailed legal research and fact development

    • Court appearances are rare. This practice is built around strategy writing and problem-solving.

    What the firm is looking for

  • Strong litigation foundation with excellent legal writing
  • Comfort managing a heavy workload in a fully remote setting
  • High standards for responsiveness professionalism and ethics
  • An analytical mindset with strong organizational skills
  • California Bar admission in good standing

    • Healthcare experience is welcome but not required. What matters most is work ethic attention to detail and the drive to prove yourself.

    Compensation and incentives

  • Base salary range of $125000 to $180000 depending on background
  • $10000 bonus at 2000 billable hours
  • An additional $10000 for every 100 hours beyond that threshold
  • Performance-based compensation growth
