Resident Care Director – Assisted Living & Memory Care

  • Location : The Woodlands, TX
  • Company : Sundale Senior Living of The Woodlands
  • Salary : $90,000
  • Schedule : Full-Time, Monday–Friday with on-call rotation
  • Benefits : Health Insurance, PTO, Paid Holidays, Continuing Education Reimbursement

  • Work in a Fully Digital, Modern Environment. We use August Health EMAR / EHR — no outdated paper trails.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage caregivers, med techs, CNAs, and overnight care staff
  • Oversee care assessments, service plans, and medication administration
  • Maintain compliance with all HHSC, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations
  • Organize, track, and follow through on family communication, staff issues, and task execution
  • Hire, train, schedule, and develop the care team
  • Participate in stand-ups, MOD coverage, audits, and team planning
  • Promote a culture of accountability, resident dignity, and proactive care

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 2+ years in a leadership role in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care
  • Demonstrated strengths in communication , delegation , and organization
  • Able to follow through on incidents, audits, and family concerns with structure
  • Tech-savvy with experience in EMAR / EHR (we use August Health)
  • LVN license is preferred
  • Familiar with Texas HHSC regulatory standards
