About the Role

• General knowledge of the principles and practices of structural / civil engineering and architecture.
• Experience in Revit (AutoCAD a plus).
• Understands and possesses a general knowledge of building codes and structural standards.
• Experience with and knowledge of structural design software including frame analysis software (RISA 3D, RAM Structural System, etc.).
• Perform routine aspects of structural engineering assignments under the supervision of the Structural Project Engineer or Structural Project Manager.
• Using Autodesk Revit Structure to prepare models and drawings for building structures and structural components.
• Assist in preparation of design calculations for building and non-building structures using different structural systems and materials.
• Participate in peer review process including review of designs and calculations
• Review submittals supplied by vendors, clients, engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Research building code issues and construction documents.
• Perform onsite construction observation and produce observation reports.

The estimated starting base salary for this role is $75,000-$85,000.
