Senior Academic Advisor for Finance

The Michael F. Price College of Business Graduate Programs OKC Office manages a number of graduate programs including the Master of Business Administration MS in Finance and MS in Entrepreneurship & Innovation programs. Advisors within the Graduate Programs Office are assigned programs and responsibilities as appropriate.

Essential Duties :

• Performs all duties of an Academic Advisor as appropriate.
• Monitors the academic health and degree progression of assigned students to include transcript review enrollment tracking and active outreach.
• Develops a rapport of trust with assigned students.
• Assists in new advisor onboarding and training.
• Mentors new advisors.
• Responds to communications via phone and email in a timely manner.
• Engages in assessment and data collection.
• Represents unit at recruitment events.
• Participates in Academic Life Coaching.
• Liaison between University of Oklahoma and transfer institutions.
• Collaborates with faculty and provides feedback on curricular decisions and course needs.
• Engages in leadership or scholarly activity to further professional advising identity.
• Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
