Volunteer Coordinator
What You Must Have :
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience in recruitment & management of volunteers, preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the IDG and the lay and professional public
- Working knowledge of volunteer program resources
- Demonstrates good communication, interpersonal, and public relations skills
- Experience with EMR software
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance

Recruitment of new volunteersTraining new volunteers on hospice philosophy, regulations, and job dutiesProvides volunteers per the Hospice patient's Plan of CareDemonstrates knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state and federal laws relating to the recruitment, training & retention of volunteersDevelops the volunteer program through collaboration with the IDG and administration personnelEstablishes a public relations program to foster good working relations with the volunteers & the communityTimely submission of all documentationPerformance of other duties as requiredEnsure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and proceduresWorking with Heart to Heart Hospice
