The Samsung Semiconductor Inc., Wireless Connectivity Software Engineering team is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic engineers to join our team in developing software infrastructure, framework, and protocol stack for UWB chipsets. We are looking for engineers with expertise in Physical Layer concepts and firmware development. As a member of the UWB Software team, you will be responsible for developing software modules for the PHY and some part of MAC layer of various UWB chipsets.

Location : Daily onsite presence at our San Jose, CA headquarters in alignment with our Flexible Work policy

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and test software modules for UWB chipsets, with a focus on MAC layer functionality.
• Debug real-time systems, working hands-on with development boards and lab equipment
• Participate in feature bring- up / interoperability activities with external certification labs as well as customer sites.
• Collaborate with product S / W and manufacturing teams to provide system-level API and firmware functionality to meet end-user requirements.
• Collaborate with System engineering teams to architect, define and implement innovative algorithms, calibrations, and protocols.
• Support post-silicon bring up, validation, performance characterization, system integration, and debug.

Base Pay Range

$157,000—$243,000 USD
