[job_card.job_description]Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' substance use history and mental health needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client goals Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on recovery and behavioral change Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Support clients in building coping skills and relapse prevention strategies Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, therapists, and social workers Maintain accurate, confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA and clinical standards Provide crisis intervention and support when needed Bachelors or Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Valid licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (e.g., CADC, LCADC) Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT and trauma-informed care Strong knowledge of crisis intervention and medical records documentation, including ICD-9 coding Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations Job Types : Full-time, Part-time Pay : $18.00 $23.00 per hour Expected Hours : 15 20 per week Work Location : In person Relocation Required : Asheville, NC 28806 (Must relocate prior to starting) Asheville, NC 28806 : Relocate before starting work (Required)
