Carrier Sales Supervisor

Pinnacle Logistics is a leading provider of surface transportation, supply chain management, and related logistics services. We manage the shipments to and from over 40 freight terminals every day. We are growing rapidly and looking for enthusiastic, positive and talented people to join our team.

The role of a Carrier Sales Representative, you will facilitate the achievement of business goals through strategic sales activities including : managing a freight portfolio from pickup to delivery, providing and negotiating freight rates, building carrier relationships, and leveraging knowledge of the industry to influence the decision-making process.

• Provide and negotiate freight rates to motor carriers and internal sales team ensure maximum profitability.
• Coordinate available customer freight with available motor carriers’ equipment.
• Consistently provide service and support to motors carriers in an effort to build business relationships.
• Collaborate with the Customer Sales team to streamline processes.
• Manager performance expectations through carrier account metrics
• Communicate with motor carrier to schedule tracks and resolve issues.
• Verify all freight charges, confirm receipt of the Bill of Lading, and resolve all payables discrepancies prior to final payment motor carrier.
• Montior Bill of Lading discrepancies to ensure proper return of commodity is arranged, as necessary.
