Job Description

As a Street Sweeper Operator, you will be responsible for visiting assigned properties each night throughout Albuquerque and the surrounding area. Your work will be performed during day shift or night shift

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a street sweeper.
• Sweep walkways, sidewalks, parking lots, and other assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Operate a leaf blower.
• Maintain cleanliness by collecting and removing litter and debris from premises, including parking lots and landscaping.
• Perform other exterior cleaning tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Maintaining a clean driving record acceptable to the insurance company.
• Understanding and following basic safety precautions, rules, and regulations.
• Demonstrated dependability and ability to work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, cleaning, janitorial duties, industrial cleaning, and custodial work.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
• Skills in housekeeping and construction.

Work Environment

The position involves an overnight schedule working outdoors. Appropriate attire such as boots or rain boots is recommended, especially when power washing. You will work both individually and with a team as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
