The firm is seeking a Litigation Support Manager to oversee strategic and operational management of its litigation paralegal team. This individual will ensure efficient, high-quality support across all litigation matters while fostering professional development, improving processes, and serving as a bridge between attorneys, paralegals, and firm leadership.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of paralegal support throughout the litigation lifecycle, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Maintain consistent quality and timeliness in all paralegal deliverables, including document review, filings, and exhibit management.
  • Develop and implement workflows, staffing plans, and resource strategies to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Partner with attorneys and practice leaders to assess staffing needs for active and upcoming matters.
  • Lead training and professional development programs for new and existing litigation support staff.
  • Track department performance metrics, identify process improvements, and execute operational enhancements.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to litigation technology and support services.
  • Contribute to departmental budgeting and participate in firmwide initiatives or special projects as assigned.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification or advanced legal training preferred.
  • 10+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Deep understanding of litigation procedures, discovery management, and trial preparation.
  • Proven success leading teams, managing complex caseloads, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency with litigation support tools (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, Concordance, TrialDirector, PACER) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing trial logistics and coordinating large-scale legal projects.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Knowledge of emerging legal technology, including AI and cloud-based solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
