How you'll contribute :

An Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who excels in this role :

• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility / function.
• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Monitors patient's responses to treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response / progress.
• Educates the patient and family / caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection / use of adaptive equipment and community support programs

Applicants must have an Associate's degree and be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Additional requirements include :
