About Us : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, a dynamic setting where you will care for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies, tumor resections, and surgeries for hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients within our Comprehensive Stroke Program and medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest neurosurgical techniques and provide cutting-edge care.
Your Commitment :
Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care.Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compassionate, safe care.Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.Major Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.Recognize significant changes in patient conditions and proactively adjust care as necessary.Implement safety strategies and educate patients and families to facilitate understanding and support.Lead discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach.Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.Qualifications :
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Completion of an accredited nursing program.A minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience is preferred.Additional Benefits :
