Pay Information

$600 to $1,200 per day

About The Position

Physicians are needed to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans. This role is non-treatment, primarily interview-based, with some basic physical assessments. Providers must meet location radius requirements or have their own office location.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Conduct one-time medical disability exams for Veterans, including C&P exams and separation health assessments.
  • Perform physical assessments (range of motion, muscle strength testing) as required.
  • Complete thorough documentation of findings, including addendums and medical opinions.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and respectful delivery of services in compliance with VA standards.
  • Participate in required training and complete DMA certification prior to starting.

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related General Medicine field).
  • Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license.
  • Must be proficient in METs testing, respiratory and cardiovascular evaluations.
  • Own a laptop (non-Mac / Apple).
  • Willingness to complete required DMA training for certification.
  • No employment conflicts with VA, active duty, or reserve military.
