GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
This position requires the employee to perform efficiently in a warehouse and dispatch environment by handling outgoing deliveries and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Transports product to and from designated areas in the facility
- Load outgoing deliveries
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility
- Enter outgoing shipments into igus system
- Check loads are secure
- Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery
- Obtain and process product orders
- Schedule large LTL and DHL Shipments and plan logistics
- Keep files of goods shipped
- Using various shipping company computer systems to print appropriate shipping labels for outgoing orders
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager
