• Patients Per Shift : Approximately 140 patients daily in a 38-bed ED / UC.
• Support Staff : Includes RN, PA / NP, and office staff; 24-hour availability for critical services such as general surgery, anesthesia, and radiology.
• Orientation : The first day (Monday) is reserved for orientation.
• Provide emergency medical care in a combined Emergency Department (ED) and Urgent Care setting at a tertiary-level facility.
• Manage diverse cases, including trauma, urgent care needs, and general emergency medicine.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, PAs, and NPs, to deliver optimal patient care.
• Supervise advanced practice providers and residents when required.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management.
• Work flexible 12-hour shifts, including day, night, and weekend coverage as per the rotational schedule.
• Providers must utilize a real-time mobile time clock system.
• The role requires flexibility in shift coverage, including nights and variable schedules.
• Holiday coverage includes major U.S. holidays and half-day coverage on Christmas Eve starting at noon.
