Job Title : 12v Electrician

Job Description

The 12v Electrician is responsible for routing wires for fire apparatus equipment by following wire diagrams and other technical drawings. This role involves connecting lights, hose reels, and other accessories to the electrical box. Additionally, it includes fabricating boxes, mounts, and other necessary equipment according to the blueprint. This position requires effective communication with fabricators for complete installation and the fabrication of wire harnesses as needed. The 12v Electrician utilizes basic hand tools to achieve objectives and performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet company needs.

Responsibilities

• Route wires for fire apparatus equipment following wire diagrams and technical drawings.
• Connect lights, hose reels, and accessories to the electrical box.
• Fabricate boxes, mounts, and necessary equipment according to blueprints.
• Communicate with fabricators for complete installation.
• Fabricate wire harnesses as needed.
• Utilize basic hand tools to achieve objectives.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.

Work Environment

The work environment is temperature-controlled and features spacious work areas. Employees work in a team setting during the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on the supervisor. Mandatory overtime is required on Fridays, with an expectation of 45-50 hours per week. All tools are provided to employees.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wyoming, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00 / hr.
