About the Position :

CARE Ambulance is seeking a dependable and hardworking Fleet & Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our vehicles and buildings in top condition. This position handles routine upkeep of our ambulance fleet along with general building maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.

Responsibilities :

Perform basic maintenance on company vehicles, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, brake inspections, and minor repairs (lights, belts, hoses, batteries, filters, etc.)

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain detailed service records

Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks such as light carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and general upkeep

Help with snow removal, mowing, and seasonal exterior maintenance as needed

Maintain a clean and organized shop and work area

Coordinate larger repair needs with outside vendors and communicate issues to management

Qualifications :

Prior experience in vehicle or facility maintenance preferred

Basic mechanical knowledge required

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions

Automotive or maintenance certifications a plus but not required
