Audit Sr Associate AND Tax Staff Assoc, $60k to $100k Senior Assurance Associates are responsible for a wide range of assignments, including, but not limited to : preparing financial statements; performing account reconciliations; performing audit, review, and compilation procedures as assigned by Senior Associates; and performing audits and working as a team member on various consulting projects. Some of our industry niches include manufacturing, distribution, services, real estate, construction, retail, healthcare, technology, and transportation. They can train those industries where you don’t have experience. The right candidates will have the following experience and attributes : 3 to 8 years of experience in the business assurance / audit side of public accounting – A degree. Well-rounded knowledge of audit and accounting principles Eligible to sit for the CPA exam Salaries are always based on experience. Staff Tax Person : 2 to 4 yrs experience. Prepare and file various tax returns, including individual, corporate, and partnership—research federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare work papers, reports, and other deliverables for review by senior staff. May also assist with related accounting tasks like accounts payable, billing, or financial reporting.
