Recruitment and Talent Specialist

Location: Can be either Opa‑Locka, FL or Houston, Texas (100% On‑site)
Salary Range: $72,000–$75,000 per year (DOE)

SICE, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and tech‑savvy Recruitment & Talent Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role oversees the full recruitment cycle and supports training and development initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, professional in communication, and able to work independently with a high level of confidentiality.

• Manage the complete recruitment cycle, including:
  • Sourcing qualified candidates
  • Reviewing resumes and screening applicants
  • Conducting initial interviews
  • Preparing and issuing offer letters
• Coordinate onboarding activities:
  • Enroll new hires in ADP
  • Collaborate with IT, Safety, and department managers for setup and training
  • Ensure the completion of orientations, E‑Verify, and required documentation
• Maintain accurate and compliant recruitment and onboarding records.

• Coordinate and monitor training programs for all positions to ensure compliance.
• Maintain training logs, documentation, and follow-up tracking.
• Support development initiatives that enhance employee skills and performance.

• Perform HR assistant tasks as needed.
• Uphold strict confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of HR information.

• Proven experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or talent development.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables).
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable using HRIS and digital workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Eligible benefits begin 60 days after date of hire, on the first of the following month. Premiums for eligible nontaxable benefits are deducted pre‑tax, per company policy.

• PTO accrues at 1.25 days per month (15 days annually), covering sick, personal, and vacation time.

• SICE, Inc. provides several paid holidays annually, roughly 12-13 per year.

• This position is fully on‑site at our Opa‑Locka, FL Headquarters and/or Houston Headquarters. Candidates in both areas will be reviewed.
• Remote flexibility is not currently considered for this role.
• Employees performing successfully may be eligible for a salary review after six months.
