[job_card.job_description]Work in the Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit within a hospital setting Care for mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process, including labor, delivery, immediate recovery, and postpartum Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am Requires experience in triage for OB and preference for circulating C-section procedures Deliver comprehensive, population-appropriate care to patients with complex needs Participate in interdisciplinary teams for evaluation and planning of patient care Provide patient and family education related to postpartum, recovery, and newborn care Engage in departmental goals, performance improvement activities, and cost-effective practices Expectation to report to lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment Start dates may be adjusted based on background and drug screen results Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state required Minimum one year of nursing experience required, with specific experience in Labor & Delivery Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, and NRP Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred Ability to circulate for C-section procedures High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
